About the Doula
I am a certified doula and Maternal Support Practitioner. I received my training through Stillbirthday as a birth and bereavement doula. This training ensures that I can support birth in any trimester with any outcome. I received my training as a Maternal Support Practitioner through Bebo Mia Inc. As an MSP, I am trained to support any part of the reproductive process - whether that be infertility or postpartum doula support. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies. I am currently seeking certification in Trauma Informed Care. Although I am a trained advocate for those experiencing Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault, I felt that pursuing further understanding of trauma as a whole was necessary. I am currently the coordinator for the Volunteer Doula Program at University of Utah Healthcare. The program provides doulas for labor and delivery support. Birth is a very sacred experience and I cherish every moment a family decides to share with me. I am furthering my education in Midwifery and am in my last "trimester" as a student midwife.
